Software for editing basic sound properties (tone, pitch, modulation, reverb, etc.)?
Hi,
I have searched all over the place, but cannot find a software that focuses mainly on sound effects such as those listed. I don't want just an audio editor, nor do I want a big complicated music making studio. I'm trying to experiment on sounds so I can be familiar to them and know how to change a, say, piano key, from my head, to how I want it to sound digitally.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
If you use a Mac, GarageBand should do. If not, try MixCraft or VirtualDJ. I use these programs regularly, and can't really say other programs fit your needs than these 
.
Note: There are many many sound effects for VirtualDJ, just make sure you don't pirate it. =)
